Become a Member of Parkinson's SA
Membership is one of the most valuable contributions you can make to your self-management of Parkinson’s. It ensures you receive the most current information about Parkinson’s related research and advances. It also gives you access and guidance to suitable support groups you may consider attending. Importantly your membership ensures you can attend any of our seminars at no charge.
Also of immeasurable value, is that your membership gives support to Parkinson’s SA’s efforts to lobby Government, advocate on behalf of people with Parkinson’s, raise the profile of Parkinson’s and its impact on individuals and the community, as well as the organisation’s quest to enhance corporate and community support and brand awareness.
Membership of Parkinson’s SA enables us to work on your behalf to:
lobby all levels of government to obtain improved services for those living with or affected by Parkinson’s.
raise the profile of Parkinson’s SA as the peak community body representing people with Parkinson’s or another movement disorder.
attract corporate sponsors, trusts and private donors prepared to assist us in funding new and continued initiatives.
advocate on your behalf to have your needs considered by the wider community.
Parkinson’s SA welcomes anyone with Parkinson’s or another movement disorder, as well as family members and others who share our vision for enhanced quality of life for people affected by Parkinson’s or another movement disorder. We continue to do this through education and aligning ourselves with medical research where possible. This includes partnerships with SAHMRI, University of Adelaide and Flinders University.
So help us continue to help you by joining as a financial member to better position the security and sustainability of Parkinson’s SA, and Parkinson’s SA’s ability to provide seminars and specialised group sessions for people living with Parkinson’s or another movement disorder, and their families.
