Parkinson's SA provides a confidential service giving support and information to anyone affected by Parkinson's disease.

How we can help

Our SupportLine staff can talk with you about all aspects of living with Parkinson's, such as:

  • managing symptoms and treatments

  • employment and benefits

  • keeping fit and healthy

  • support groups

  • carer support

The SupportLine is available Mon-Fri from 9am - 5pm.

Interpreting Services
We also offer Interpreting services for people from non-English speaking backgrounds. Call the helpline directly and request an interpreter. This service is provided free of charge courtesy of the State Government.

Personal counselling is also available face to face by appointment.

 "Where To Get Help When You Need It" is an Information Sheet which gives a summary of community resources available to you.

Parkinson's SA maintains a number of support groups throughout the State to specifically cater for your special needs.

2016 Speakers Group

The Speaker's Group provide a tremendous service to the Parkinson's community by spreading the word about Parkinson's to a range of Service Clubs, community groups, support groups and seminars. They bring a wealth of information and their unique personal experience to their audiences.
